Be A Domino
Be a domino, to yourself and others. Perform one act of kindness daily, toward yourself and to another. Spread the happiness you wish to feel out to others.
We know a man who frequents a drive thru coffee shop. Everyday, he orders his coffee and pays for the order of the next person in the drive thru. He says he does it for the feeling he receives. “I’m addicted to the high (higher vibration) I get when I do it,” he says, “ as I drive away, I know I have lifted the vibration of the person receiving their choice beverage. I can feel their energy line up with mine. It makes me giggle.”
Sometimes the bill has gotten expensive, but he only smiles. He shared a time when the bill was more than $50. He said he could have chosen not to pay, but instead he states, “I figured the person must be going to a meeting and bringing the coffee. Now, my deliberate act of kindness has multiplied. This person will bring the coffee in and tell how a stranger paid for it all. Those at the meeting will go out and reflect a higher vibration maybe doing another act of kindness.” He looks down and smiles again, “I just chose to be the first domino of what kind of world I want to live in.”
And he did experience, first hand, the effects of his act of kindness. When he arrived at work, a staff meeting had been set up. He walked into the meeting room to everyone smiling and telling the story of how a stranger at the coffee shop drive thru had purchased their coffee. One staff member handed him a coffee with a smile covering their face saying, “Let’s honor the kindness of this stranger by spreading more happiness today.”
The man buying the coffee showed a selfishness which changed his day and also those who enjoyed his act of kindness. He selfishly cared about how he wanted to feel in the moment. He insisted on feeling a higher feeling and so he created it in his life. His selfish act of wanting happiness returned to him, multiplied.
